The Silver Bear Lodge, located just three blocks from Crest Valley Resort, is accessible via the free shuttle. Silver Bear Lodge is located in the newly expanded Crest Canyon area. It offers 12 units with two bedrooms, underground parking, fully-equipped kitchens and laundry facilities. Silver Bear Lodge will have a common outdoor hot tub, as well as an on-site store and front desk service.

Each year, over 150,000 skiers and nature lovers visit the Bear Valley Resort area. On average, visitors spend over $250 million, annually, for lodging, food, and recreational activities at Bear Valley Resort.

Marty Snyderman (co-owners) of Silver Bear Lodge will operate the lodge during November to April as a resort. The Silver Bear Lodge will be open as a summer resort during the Spring and Summer months (May through August). The lodge is closed for the months of September through October.

1.1 Objectives

The Silver Bear Lodge’s first three years of operations had the following goals:

  • Exceeding customer’s expectations for luxury apres ski accommodations.

  • Ensure that peak periods are at least 90% occupancy.

  • Assembling a skilled and efficient staff.

1.2 Mission

Silver Bear Lodge has one mission: To be the first lodge that visitors choose in Bear Valley Resort.
