The Employee Benefits Administrators (EBA), will offer benefits outsourcing for small and medium-sized businesses. The Morgantown office was opened.

Many employers are now looking to outsource functions that are not directly connected to income generation. Human Resources Administration should therefore be considered first as it is not directly linked to generating revenue.

Outsourcing can be a proactive way to increase productivity and reduce costs. Employee Benefits Managers aim to deliver high quality benefits administration services and customer service to clients, allowing them to focus on other strategic initiatives.

EBA will initially target clients with ten to 500 employees when it opens. There will be four levels of service available to clients, each one tailored to their individual needs.

  • COBRA (Consolidated OmniBus Reconciliation Act), and HIPAA Administration (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
  • Flexible Spending Account Administration
  • Basic Benefits Administration for health and welfare plans, including a call center
  • A level that combines the three previous levels.

EBA will be marketing its services through professional associations, insurance brokers, local businesses and business associates. EBA plans to be certified in Pennsylvania as a WBE, Women’s Business Enterprise, in order to conduct business at the State, Federal and Local levels.

Employee Benefits Managers is now an LLC (Limited Liability Company). Cindy Wells (principals), and Diane Davis are equal owners of the business. They combine over 25 years of experience in corporate benefits administration and employee relations and communications. In addition to a long history of exceptional customer service, they also have legal compliance and legal compliance. They are able to work with both employees and management at all levels.

This business plan has been prepared to forecast all financial statements for three years, as well as to obtain initial funding. This will cover all operating costs and start-up costs. Employee Benefits Administrators projects substantial revenue by the end of year one, and phenomenal by the end of year two.

1.1 Objectives

EBA hopes to reach the following goals in the next three-years

  • Excellent growth in the next one year and substantial first year revenues
  • One new client/month (for COBRA) and one new customer/quarter (basic and all inclusive services).
  • Three staff members at the start of Year 2 and seven at the end of Year 3.
  • To evolve from strictly administering benefits to offering payroll services by the end 3rd year and/or any other HR Services that clients may be interested in outsourcing.
